Webmaster Note: No matter where you live in NS, if you find a dog it is not finders keepers. Please contact your local animal control to let them know you have the dog. Why? Animal Control is obliged by law to hold all impounded pets for at least 72 hours before adopting any unclaimed impounded pets out.
If you have lost a cat in Nova Scotia, there are several places that you can list:
- your local Facebook yard sale sites
- all the local veterinarian’s offices
- and yes , you can call your local animal control
