No Kill Nova Scotia will require the collaboration … and regulation .. of the myriad of Animal Control departments in every municipality in this province. As of this writing, the chances of survival for impounded animals varies widely between municipalities.
Anti Tethering is off to a promising start in the province with its inclusion in the ‘new’ regulations for the Animal Protection Act. However it is the express opinion of the undersigned that an overnight ban such as New Brunwick implemented this year will prove to be more readily enforcable.
